Over last the 4 to 6 weeks we the students at Mirpur UTC have been learning various financial and commercial analysis type activities which includes.
Learning outcomes
- Creating visual graphs and telling the story back to the audiences with narrative
- Year on year comparison against previous years spend and calculating differences.
- We have also learnt to use conditional formatting which allows excel cells to colour code it self by applying numerical conditions
- and lastly we have been working on developing forecasts on spend by using our own initiatives and using assumptions such as cost of living crisis, previous years spend and retail price index (RPI)
